PIXELL FALL 3D
In Gdańsk on 19 and 20 June 2009, we saw an interdisciplinary Polish-German coproduction in the form of a performance, showing the phenomenon of water and global threats related to its improper use.
Integrated action by artists from Poland and Germany led to the creation of a unique stage for a moving and suggestive visualization of mankind dependent on environmental resources. The stage resembles an aquarium in which dancers are performing a pre-studied choreography. Their movement correspondents to the visualizations; the artists seem to be playing a computer game. The performance's visualizations are complemented with costumes and other elements of the stage design. The presentation has been planned in such a way that is can be observed from all sides. The innovative stage construction was the participating artists' own concept.
